It’s the simplest way to tell the VA your story.
An effective disability exam requires time, experience and compassion. Too often, VA appointments often miss the mark, and ratings fall short of expectations.
Many of us at REE Medical have been through this ourselves, so we built a better path that adheres to VA regulations, adds transparency, and protects Veterans from the mistakes and bad actors that can cost them the benefits they deserve.
That’s it. No surprises or confusion. Just a simple process to follow and a team of experts to support you along the way. Plus, it’s all available for a flat rate, with no hidden fees or long-term commissions.

Disability benefits questionnaires (DBQs) are used to collect and record relevant medical information for the purpose of processing Veterans’ disability claims. DBQs are medical examination forms that the VA uses to evaluate the severity of a Veteran’s disabilities. These forms are instrumental in the process of applying for an increase in your VA disability rating, as they guide the VA to properly rate the progression of your condition. It is essential that DBQs are completed accurately and with attention to detail, documenting all aspects of a Veteran’s worsening conditions. At REE Medical, we work with a network of private doctors who have an understanding of the claims process.
Veterans may choose to work with REE Medical when they need detailed, independent medical documentation that complements the VA’s processes. While the VA and personal physicians provide important care, REE Medical connects Veterans with independent medical providers who specialize in conducting evaluations that meet VA standards for disability claims. Our services are especially beneficial if you’ve struggled with incomplete or insufficient medical evidence in past claims or feel your disability is not fully documented.

I did the expedited review, started February 19th, documents came back faster than the original 45 days. Submitted to the VA and had my claim completed by April 1st! Was increased from 90 to 100%!!! Brooklin MccloudApril 2, 2025 I cannot thank REE medical and Heidi Kalis enough for there support with my claim for disability. I now have a rating of 100% Heidi ALWAYS returned my calls and never once "left me hanging", If not that day or early the next day Heidi was there for me. Several times I was extremely frustrated with the whole with the whole process, but Heidi was a morale booster and keep me going. I have been going back and forth with the VA for almost 7 years because of exposure to Agent Orange in Viet Nam (2 tours !965 to 1966 and again in 1968 t0 1969) After i contacted REE Medical they helped me with the paperwork and guided me thru the process, Heidi was with me every step of the way. Again, thank you Heidi, and your team. Respectfully Gentry Deck 1sgt retired former Green Beret gentry deckApril 1, 2025 I initially reached out to REE Medical a few years ago, but was weary of coughing up the dough. I wish I had trusted them sooner. I paid them for their services on 02/26/2025, had a doctor evaluation on 03/11/2025, and my VA compensation was increased to 100% on 03/25/2025. I cannot believe how easy REE Medical made this experience. I had tried to file for an increase by myself last year, and found it impossible to navigate. I also could not get a VSO in my area to help me. REE Medical was worth every penny for me. This is incredibly life changing, and I could not be more grateful. Thank you! elissa laouarApril 1, 2025 Exceptional experience all the way around. Highly recommend! Tony RossMarch 31, 2025 I rarely leave reviews; however, I’m absolutely happy with the educational process and assistance we received from Nicklus. He stayed in touch and gave us updates as he received them. My dad is suffering from Metastatic stage 4 Prostate Cancer and he actually showed excitement from the progress of his claims. A wholehearted thank you 🙏🏼 Gina MaialeMarch 29, 2025 Choosing REE Medical to help facilitate increases in my VA disability rating was a great decision. From the very start, they laid out the entire process, what to expect, a general timeline, & costs. REE Medical kept me in the loop at all times and Heidi Kalis, my assigned case manager, was excellent in responding promptly and thoroughly to every question that I had along the way. I would HIGHLY recommend REE to all of my veteran friends. They really do care! Joe DixonMarch 27, 2025
